I wasn't sure I'd try parachute pants, but I deemed these versatile enough to get lots of use, whether lounging, traveling, or going out with friends. I added them to my virtual shopping cart in black and my usual size medium — and now it's your turn.
They're also the most lightweight pants I've ever worn, and I adore that about them. They're super airy and comfortable, made of nylon, just like the OG designs worn in the 80s. Plus, thanks to the toggle drawstring fastening, you can adjust the fit and ensure the elasticized waistband doesn't fit snugly or loosely.
A small fraction of people said they're"loud when you walk," but in my experience, they weren't any noisier than expected, given their nylon fabric. They definitely make a swoosh sound when you walk, but that's not exactly avoidable, given the material.
