The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N will reach the hands of Australian customers in early 2024

will make its Australian debut at the upcoming World Time Attack Challenge at Sydney Motorsport Park, showing car enthusiasts at the event that it’s now possible to buy and own an EV that’s fun, efficient, and can be a bit of a hooligan.

Japanese drifting legend Kiichi Tsuchiya will drive the Ioniq 5 N for a number of demonstration laps during the two-day event. Australian sales of the 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 will kick off towards the end of this year before the first customer deliveries start in early 2024. Local pricing details have not been announced but considering that the related Kia EV6 GT starts at AU$99,950 , the Ioniq 5 N is tipped to start at around $110,000 .
