The International Space Station captured this view of Hurricane Dorian on Thursday afternoon as the powerful storm churns toward the mainland United States.
Hurricane Dorian is strengthening and taking aim at Florida, where residents and tourists are bracing for a possible Category 4 landfall on Monday afternoon.
The president further weighed in on the storm Thursday evening, saying in a short video posted to Twitter,"It's looking like it could be an absolute monster. It does seem almost certain that it's hitting dead center, and that's not good." Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency in every county due to the storm's"uncertain projected path."
