An armed suspect fired at a fleeing female in front of a Huntsville officer, police said.
Huntsville police say the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s State Bureau of Investigation is looking into what happened Saturday morning when a Huntsville police officer shot and killed a person.
According to police, officers responded to a domestic violence call in the 6200 block of Rime Village Drive just before 10 a.m. on Saturday. An armed suspect, Naimmikal Wayne Sanders, 38, of Decatur fired at a fleeing female in front of a Huntsville officer, police said.ALEA identified the man as Naimmikal Wayne Sanders, 38, of Decatur.
