HUNDREDS of McDonald's fans caused a mile-long queue as the fast food chain reopened 160 drive-thrus.
Fast food fans have been facing long queues at drive thrus across the UK - including Hull, Glasgow and Wakefield - as the chain finally reopened some northern branches. In preparation for anticipated long queues, Southend Council posted a notice on Monday evening suspending parking on two roads - for up to two weeks.
