Catch up on the latest Leeds United morning headlines in the aftermath of last night's 0-0 draw away to Hull City
Hull City boss Liam Rosenior's yellow card admission after Leeds United draw Hull City boss Liam Rosenior admitted that he deserved the yellow card that he was issued during the first half of last night's 0-0 draw with Leeds United. The Tigers head coach was cautioned 15 minutes into the clash by referee Stephen Martin after he poked the ball away to prevent Daniel James taking a quick throw-in and launching a Leeds counter attack.
Rosenior has form this season when it comes to yellow cards, having been booked last time out against Coventry and also being sent off on the opening day of the season against Norwich City. Unfortunately, his night’s work was cut short in the 21st minute as he was forced off the field with what appeared to be an ankle injury. Gnonto looked to collide with Scott Twine early in the game and he stayed down to receive treatment before hitting the deck a few minutes later and coming to terms with the fact that he couldn’t continue.
He was influential in possession in the first half and looked to make things happen with Archie Gray deployed ever so slightly further up the field. But he had to dig deep in the second half after Joe Rodon’s red card, remaining disciplined, holding his shape and looking to put the home side under pressure.
