Don’t colour your extensions at home While it can be tempting to use a cheap box of home dye to trial out a new look while you’ve got time on your hands, these products can produce unpredictable results. Your extensions may react differently to the dye than your natural hair does, meaning you could end up with an uneven result.
When you do wash your hair, use a nourishing shampoo and conditioner designed to extend the lifespan of your extensions.
