Returning to the example of reward sensitivity: rewarding a behavior will have a bigger effect on the behavior of people high in reward sensitivity than on people low in reward sensitivity. Hence, when trying to predict who will change their behavior , it is good to take into account personality.
Although captivating, research on the interaction between personality and learning faces several challenges. First, the playing field is huge, as there are many facets of personality and many types of learning phenomena. This implies that there is still much out there that is waiting to be discovered but it also means that we need to have some guidance on how to explore this field.
