Kate Gosselin shared how she spent her 51st birthday with her boyfriend Steve Neild
“This is 51,” Gosselin captioned a photo of herself sipping on a coffee via Instagram on Sunday, March 29. “I asked Steve to take pics of me throughout my birthday. Here is what he took.” In the next pic, Gosselin was seen reaching into her fridge and “making breakfast.
” She noted that Neild, 50, brought her “coffee in bed.” The Jon & Kate Plus 8 alum then ate pancakes before “crying over TikTok,” which she joked was a “very common occurrence.” She continued her day by giving her dog a kiss and “organizing junk drawer.” Gosselin was then seen cleaning up her house before “getting ready for birthday dinner.” She sat at her bathroom sink while doing her makeup, getting ready for the festivities with her hair twisted in a towel. She later showed off what she wore to the restaurant in the next photo, which included a baby pink dress and a coordinating cardigan.Gosselin also went shopping at Luluemon for her “bday presents.” After doing some shopping, she and Neild went to dinner, which she praised as being “yum.” Before concluding her meal, Gosselin made “three bday wishes” while blowing out candles on a slice of cake. “Can't tell or they don't come true,” she quipped of her celebratory wishes.Gosselin and Neild met in 2008 while he was working as a bodyguard for her and ex-husband Jon Gosselin. In 2023, following her 2009 divorce from Jon, Kate confirmed that she was dating someone whom she had known for years. The couple made their relationship Instagram official in November 2025, and gushed that Neild was one of her “obsessions.” Kate and Jon, 48, share eight kids together: twins Cara and Madelyn 'Mady,” 25, and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel, 21. Their life with their kids was documented in their reality show, which aired from 2007 through 2017. The couple separated in 2009, kicking off a decade-long custody battle, which ended when the kids all turned 18 in 2022. Steve, for his part, was married to Gina Neild from 1990 until their 2023 divorce. They share two kids together, sons Kristopher and Michael.
