Plus, how she finds balance through boundaries and the morning routine she swears by
"It was every time I made a decision in the face of fear. I had a relatively successful PR company in Sydney. I was smashing personal targets and that’s when I decided to move to London. My friends and family thought I was crazy, but moving towas the best thing I’ve ever done. Another moment that comes to mind is when I finally got all of my businesses to a good place and I decided to leave it all and join JSHealth.
"What I’ve learned is that to have balance, you need to have boundaries. I had to learn how to say no in order to get to a place where I could achieve what I wanted to but also have time for myself. Admittedly, in the past, I have been a bit of a workaholic and it’s impacted my health, which is why I’m quite strict on that morning and evening routine.
"Luckily my husband is a social butterfly who drags me out to have fun, otherwise I’d probably find myself at my computer too often.""I try to have structure to keep myself sane. I rise early in the morning, usually between 5:30am and 6:30am. Ievery morning. I don’t charge my phone near my bed so I try not to look at my phone in the morning. I always make the bed, make sure the space is clean and I get ready slowly.
"I’m usually at my desk by 7:15am because the Australian day is ending, so I speak to the JSHealth founders very early in the morning before my team get in. From 9am when my team are in, we usually have meetings all morning and work through until 2pm. I then try to go for a walk for fresh air and to get lunch. I work on JSHealth all afternoon, then when I get home that’s when I work on CEO Yourself.
