An investigation is underway to determine what caused a Sound Transit bus to lose control and crash into the side of a building in downtown Seattle over the weekend.One person had critical injuries and remains at Harborview Medical Center in satisfactory condition, according to hospital staff.
The bus left the roadway, took out a tree, barreled over a set of stairs, and then crashed into a cement retaining wall that is attached to an office building.Sound Transit officials said Monday the cause of the crash has not been determined. Crews roped off the area where the bus impacted the wall, but the roads and sidewalk re-opened to traffic not long after the crash.
