A group of congressional Democrats asked Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, the former British prince, on Thursday to answer questions about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, the deceased financier accused of child sex trafficking.to Andrew that they would like him to participate in an interview to discuss Epstein’s alleged accomplices. Andrew has admitted to staying at Epstein’s island, where crimes allegedly took place, and at the financier’s Florida home, as well as to traveling on Epstein’s plane. The Democrats said in their letter that the men’s friendship confirmed their suspicion that Andrew could have valuable information about crimes allegedly committed by Epstein and his associates. The lawmakers noted that they have also obtained financial records with notes like “massage for Andrew” that raise “serious” questions. “Rich and powerful men have evaded justice for far too long. Now, former Prince Andrew has the opportunity to come clean and provide justice for the survivors,” California Democratic Rep. Robert Garcia, the committee’s highest-ranking Democrat, said in alast month that he “vigorously” denied the accusations against him but supported removing his royal titles.
