By the summer of 2008 the mall, with fewer than 20 tenants, lost its last chain retail stores, including RadioShack and Waldenbooks.

The Dispatch reported that about 100,000 shoppers flocked to the mall on opening day, drawn by a mix of upscale stores, including Coach, Williams-Sonoma and The Disney Store, plus restaurants and just the buzz of something new Downtown.
