Happy Fourth Of July ! Much of the Susquehanna Valley will just see passing clouds, high heat and humidity this evening, but some spotty to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible this evening as temperatures slowly slip back into the lower 80s around sunset. Most of the Valley should be dry for fireworks, however, isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible between 8-10pm. Some of these storms may pack a punch with heavy rainfall, strong wind gusts, small hail.
That boundary lifts north Friday as a warm front, and it gets soupy around here! Dew points will climb to the low 70s, and highs will reach the low 90s. A few thunderstorms will be around in the afternoon and evening. Again, isolated severe thunderstorms with gusty winds, heavy rain are possible. Saturday will also be quite humid, before a cold front passes midday. Highs will reach the low 90s, and isolated thunderstorms are possible.
