Tucked in the corner of the Royalton Collection shopping center at 17830 Royalton Road, the fast-casual chain opened to great fanfare in May 2021, introducing Nashville-style chicken, which is spicier than typical fast-food fried chicken, to Strongsville residents. Based on this reporter’s last several visits to the location, however, the restaurant appeared to struggle to attract customers on a consistent basis in a city with both Chick-fil-A and Raising Cane’s operating franchises with drive-thrus in more convenient and visible locations within a mile of Hot Chicken Takeover.
To soften the blow of the closure, the restaurant is offering customers a buy one, get one free meal deal at the Crocker Park location through November 15.
