The Charlotte Hornets have apologized after giving a PS5 to a 13-year-old fan at a game and then taking it away. During a Christmas-themed skit, the Hornets mascot, Hugo, handed the PS5 to fan Jack, who was visibly excited. However, the gift was reportedly taken away backstage, and Jack was given a jersey instead. The team has since said they will be providing Jack with the PS5 and a VIP experience to a future game.
