The Honor Magic V2 is the first foldable smartphone that measures less than 10mm when folded. With a large 7.92-inch main display and a 6.43-inch secondary screen, there's a good chance we'll be seeing in Malaysia later this year too.

It’s also much, much thinner than other foldable smartphones out there, with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 measuring 15.8mm thick, the Google Pixel coming in at 12.1mm, and the Huawei Mate X3 at 11.8mm thick. When unfolded meanwhile, the Honor Magic V2 measures just 4,.7mm thin, with the entire device weighing in at 231g—less than the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Under the hood meanwhile you’ll find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 system-on-chip. Curiously, this is the one with a slightly overclocked prime core running at 3.36GHz—the same as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 found on the Galaxy S23 series from earlier this year. This gets paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It comes with Android 13 out of the box, skinned with MagicOS 7.2 over it.
