A San Antonio homeowner fatally shot a 53-year-old man during a dispute in the driveway of his residence. The homeowner, acquainted with the victim, called the police who discovered the deceased with a gunshot wound.
A homeowner shot and killed a 53-year-old man during an argument in the driveway of a home west of downtown San Antonio , according to San Antonio police. Authorities said the homeowner — who police said was acquainted with the unidentified man — called the police. Upon arrival, SAPD said officers found the man lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound in his chest, according to an SAPD preliminary report. The Bexar County Medical Examiner identified the deceased as Gabino DeLaCerda.
The ME’s office determined that DeLaCerda died from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. Officials ruled his death a homicide. DeLaCerda was shot in the midst of an argument that escalated after he refused to leave a man’s property, according to San Antonio police
