On April 8, The Boys season 5 will begin with a two-episode premiere, concluding the story that began in 2019. Starr's portrayal of the formidable and insecure Homelander has been one of the show's standout performances. As viewers wait to see what the character's ultimate fate will be in the hit Prime Video series, the actor has already set his next television role. Deadline reports that Starr is playing a key character in Breakers, a new scripted series that has been greenlit by Netflix. He will play Brando, the charismatic and mysterious leader of a seemingly idyllic community of surfers. While backpacking in Australia, two best friends from the U.S. come into contact with this community and are drawn into it. In addition to his role as Brando, Starr is executive producing the series that comes from writer and executive producer Pete Jackson. Filming is underway in Western Australia and is expected to wrap in June.
