KUALA LUMPUR: The employer of Md Rayhan Kabir, the Bangladeshi who appeared in the controversial Al Jazeera documentary, is also being investigated, says the Home Ministry.
Its Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin said Md Rayhan was arrested on July 24 by a team of Immigration officers from the Putrajaya office and has been remanded.
"Investigations are also being done on the employer," said Hamzah in his ministerial reply during the debate on the Royal Address on Tuesday . "In fact, today we found out that the Al-Jazeera office in Kuala Lumpur was raided. We want to know why this is happening?
