SK Global Entertainment President and ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ film producer John Penotti says Hollywood producers are now discussing guidelines in ensuring the safety of actors and crew amid the COVID-19 pandemic
A top Hollywood film producer has bared that fellow filmmakers are now discussing safety guidelines in film shoots amid the new normal due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“There is tremendous anxiousness to get back to work. Lots of creativities are going on to assure that we can get back to work as quickly as possible but as safely as possible,” said Penotti in an interview with CNN Philippines. “That will require temperature taking, tremendous amount of disinfecting, and distancing,” he explained.
The film producer mentioned that to lessen physical contact in some scenes, they may rely more on special effects and computer graphics.Most Hollywood films due for showing at present have moved their release dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
