Updated: May. 16, 2024, 8:20 a.m.On April 27, Cleveland police contacted Brooklyn police about a gray 2008 Ford Fusion that just left a car crash with a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee.The Fusion was stopped on Woodhaven Avenue.After failing a field sobriety test, the man was arrested for drunken driving.On April 27, a Walmart loss prevention officer observed a customer stealing merchandise from the Brookpark Road store.

An arriving officer talked to the caller, who said they observed the suspect attempting to shoplift items valued at more than $166.Attempted car theft, Westbrook Drive: On April 27, a resident at Westbrook Village Apartments called police after discovering a suspicious situation involving their Kia Forte, which was in the Westbrook Drive parking lot.The right rear window was broken out with the steering column peeled. There are no suspects.On April 28, police were dispatched to Menards after a customer discovered someone stole medical paperwork from their vehicle, which was in the Brookpark Road parking lot.There are no suspects. Police are investigating.
