Shaker Heights police arrested a girl, 16, for assaulting her 14-year-old sister.
At 5:20 a.m. April 22, officers were dispatched to Eaton Road and Shaker Boulevard to investigate a Kia vehicle that was resting upon the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority railway tracks.
Officers stopped the vehicle, smelled alcohol, and observed that the driver, an Akron woman, 31, showed signs of intoxication. The woman failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for OVI.She will also be charged with having an elevated blood alcohol content.At 1:55 a.m. April 21, officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Tolland Road to investigate a disturbance. It was learned that, during an argument, a 27-year-old Shaker Heights man had assaulted his 23-year-old live-in girlfriend.
Officers located the man, a 46-year-old Shaker Heights resident, but he ran. Police were able to detain the suspect and found that he was in possession of a loaded firearm.Domestic violence: Chadbourne Road The man told police he allowed the male buyer to examine the goods, but the suspect took them and left in a Nissan vehicle.At 12:30 a.m. April 25, officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Huntington Road to investigate a disturbance.
