Published: Dec. 26, 2024 at 1:29 PM ESTLORAIN, Ohio - Lorain Police are looking for the driver in a hit-and-skip crash that left a woman seriously injured Wednesday evening.According to a release, officers responded to reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and vehicle that occurred around 5:50 p.m. at the median changeover on Tower Boulevard at Tysons Road.

Police said their preliminary investigation showed a 67-year-old woman was walking northbound across the roadway near the median when a truck hit the woman as it was traveling eastbound.Police said the evidence collected from the scene suggested the truck was either a gray or silver Ford pick-up truck,Police said the woman sustained serious injuries to her leg but is stable.
