The driver of a truck was passing in a no-passing zone in Kendall County when he struck a sedan, the Texas Department of Public Safety said.
Three Bandera County residents were killed in Kendall County on Tuesday night when the driver of a truck tried to pass in a no-passing zone and struck their sedan head-on, according the Texas Department of Public Safety. The Ford F-250 Super Duty truck was traveling west on Texas 46 about 8 p.m., DPS said. The preliminary investigation indicates the truck “passed in a no-passing zone,” and hit a Toyota Corolla that was driving east.

DPS said the investigation is ongoing and further details are not available. The highway was closed for several hours, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office said in a post on Facebook.
