Hilary Swank was recently added to the cast of Yellowjackets season 3, and her new character may just give audiences a glimpse at one of the series' biggest storylines. First released in 2021, Yellowjackets is a supernatural drama series that follows dual timelines. One sees a girls high school soccer team get into a plane crash in the middle of an isolated forest. The second follows those same girls in their adulthood as they reunite and deal with the consequences of their pasts.
Hilary Swank's Yellowjackets Season 3 Character Could Involve The Post-Rescue Storyline Why Swank Would Do Best In The Post-Rescue Timeline Close One of the most exciting possibilities is that Swank's Yellowjackets character will be part of the post-rescue storyline. In Yellowjackets season 2, there were hints about what the soccer team might look like after they are rescued from the forest.
Many theories also posit that Swank could play an adult version of one of the soccer girls, but this seems less likely. At this point, Yellowjackets has revealed the fate of almost every important character in the past timeline, and, in turn, shown where they are as adults. For Swank to be one of the Yellowjackets, a new player would have to become prominent in the past storyline. Therefore, Swank would be a better and smoother fit as someone outside the team.
