We chat with HighDesert stars Christine Taylor & Keir O’Donnell about what it was like working so closely with Patricia Arquette in the new AppleTVPlus series:
High Desert follows Peggy after she decides to make a life-changing career swap due to the death of her beloved mother. On top of her job working at Pioneertown, where she plays a woman from the Old West, Peggy becomes a private investigator. When she accidentally stumbles upon a scam artist, she invites murder and mayhem into her world.
Screen Rant sat down with Christine Taylor & Keir O’Donnell to discuss their roles in High Desert. They revealed what it was like working so closely with Patricia Arquette, as well as what it was about the series that made them want to be a part of it. Christine Taylor: Right off the bat, reading the script, recognizing that the brother and the sister role are really Peggy's grounding force. She is a fly by the seat of her pants girl. She's hanging from chandeliers, she's solving people's problems, and you notice through the course of the series, everybody's coming to her with problems, and she's problem-solving along the way. Yet, we're the people that she has left. She was very close with our mother.
