We chat with HighDesert star Bernadette Peters (OfficialBPeters) about working closely with Patricia Arquette on their upcoming AppleTVPlus series and what it was like wearing dresses from the old West:
The new dark comedy series High Desert tells the story of Peggy who decides to switch careers after the death of her mother . After changing career paths and becoming a private investigator, Peggy accidentally uncovers an art scam, which leads to chaos.

I would love to know what it was about High Desert that made you want to be a part of it. And the writers, Jennifer Hoppe and Nancy Fichman, were there. They would say "Oh, say this line here." It was just a thrill and a joy. Jay Roach directed all of them, so it's all one piece. He was terrific because he would look at his monitor like an iPad. He would look at the scene up close, and he would know whether he got it or not. It was the best experience ever.
