HGTV star Ben Napier admits to feeling 'in a constant state of fear' as a father of two daughters. Ben, who grew up with three brothers, says he knows how to handle boys, but parenting girls is a whole new challenge. 'I am in a constant state of fear with two little girls and wanting to discipline, but how far?' he told Fox News Digital. 'But not crush their spirit,' added his wife Erin Napier , before Ben continued, 'and also not make them terrified of me.
' The couple, who share daughters Helen, 6, and Mae, 3, star in HGTV's 'Home Town,' where they renovate historical homes. Ben and Erin say the biggest challenge this season has been balancing their work with parenting. 'We've never been parents before,' Erin noted. 'We're still learning every single day. Learning how to do our jobs well and be the best parents possible is always the biggest challenge.
