As the conflict between Iran , the United States and Israel enter its fourth week, the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah has stepped in, joining forces with Iran to attack Israel on Sunday.
Meanwhile, both the US and Iran have exchanged threats to one another, targeting critical infrastructure. Iran threatened to “completely” close the Strat of Hormuz, which is critical to oil and other exports, if the US moves forward with President Donald Trump’s threat to attack its power plants. On Saturday evening, Trump set a Iran’s parliament speaker said Tehran would also retaliate against the US and Israeli energy and broader infrastructure in the region. On Saturday, Israeli leaders were visiting Arad, a southern community near a secretive nuclear research site. While there, the area was struck by Iranian missiles, wounding many people. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said it was a “miracle” that no one was killed in the attack.
