The only catch is that the haunted house won't take your money for you to visit!
AUSTIN, Texas — It's that time of year when haunted houses pop up all over Central Texas!Eric Guerra loves a good scare and one look at his elaborate setup will have you praying for daylight. You see, for the past 15 years, Guerra's been the brains behind this haunted house
To say the haunted house is huge would be an understatement. The screams cover nearly two acres with projections, animatronics, and volunteers dying to frighten the trick-or-treaters. "I'll say ok, I have a gargoyle station," Guerra said."You want to be a gargoyle? Great, I'm going to have a video and an animatronic and you can jump out.How cold will it get? Polar cold front to bring big changes to Texas by Halloween
But what really makes it stand out is that it's free! The only thing you're encouraged to do is donate nonperishable foods. Last year alone, Guerra collected 800 pounds of food. The food then makes its way in the back of Guerra's truck to the food bank. So if you can work up the courage, come at your own risk. Just remember to bring a donation.
