The Scottish Government minister had rubbished our sister paper the Sunday Mail's exclusive story revealing that he had been in the queue while in charge of the dementia meeting at the SNP conference.

SNP Health Secretary Neil Gray has backtracked over his Oasis ticket denial - and admitted he was in the queue for tickets while chairing a panel on Alzheimer's disease.

However, in an interview with LBC today he about-turned and admitted he was trying to get tickets while chairing the meeting. He said: "I'm in the queue to buy Oasis tickets... on multiple devices. "So my phone was in my pocket, there was progress made in this queue dispersing. I didn't actually end up getting on to Ticketmaster, such was the demand for tickets. Rubbishing the revelations earlier this week, in a series of Tweets, he wrote on X: "Just to confirm this is total nonsense. In intros to a fringe session I was chairing another panellist jokingly referred to Oasis tickets.
