Multimodal transportation, $50 million to expand safe bicycling options and bringing sidewalks and ramps into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.After Tuesday, the court does not have another regularly scheduled meeting until Aug. 23, a day after the legal deadline, so it likely would need to schedule a special meeting to hold the vote. The court does have an upcoming business meeting on Aug.
"I am perfectly prepared to have a conversation about a bond issue in 2023, but not 2022," Ramsey said."My glory, 2022 is three months. We early vote three months from today almost. I don't think it's enough time." The vote to issue bonds will hinge, in part, on how the money would be allocated among the county’s four precincts.
