A man was shot and killed by a homeowner Saturday morning during an altercation involving a game of dominoes at a far north Harris County home, according to authorities.
Deputies responded to reports of a disturbance after an argument broke out around 4 a.m. at a house party at a residence on the 500 block of Starksboro Court where they found one man shot in the abdomen and another man dead at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds, HCSO stated in a press release.
The injured man was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, the agency added. As the suspect shot multiple times at the victim who attempted to flee the home, the homeowner got a gun and killed the suspect, the press release added. The Harris County District Attorney's Office will present the case in front of a grand jury once an investigation into the incident is complete, according to authorities.
