Ruth Mariela Castillo is still in denial about the loss of the love of her life, her husband, Fermín Castillo Gómez.On April 27, Fermín and his family were celebrating his brother’s wedding in the Pleasant Grove area and they ran out of ice, so he decided to go to the store to make sure everything was perfect for his brother’s special date. He got into an argument with someone in the parking lot and another person came up behind him and shot him, Ruth said.
On his Facebook wall, hundreds of people wrote condolences after learning about Fermín’s death. A group from his hometown composed a song in his honor, “
