Fans of the Hairy Bikers gathered in the streets to honor Dave Myers, who sadly passed away after a battle with cancer. The tribute ride, organized by Biker Escorts East Yorkshire, started in Beverley and ended in Scarborough, with hundreds of bikers participating.
Hairy Bikers fans flocked to the streets to pay tribute to Dave Myers who heartbreakingly died in February after battling cancer for two years.
Organised by Paul Quigley and his Biker Escorts East Yorkshire organisation, the tribute began in Beverley, East Yorkshire, and ended 75 miles away in Scarborough, with hundreds taking part to pay tribute to Dave. He wrote: "A message to all the riders taking part in today’s Memorial Ride Out for Dave Myers. I hope the ride out goes well for you all."
Another person said: "Love this! RIP Dave …. A true gent xx." And a third person penned: "What a guy, what a partnership. Trying the chilli and coffee beef brisket tonight. It's marinating as we speak." At the time of Dave's death, Si wrote: "My best friend is on a journey that for now, I can't follow."
In March the Hairy Bikers Facebook page was forced to warn fans about fake fundraising pages, pretending to be Si.
