BBC Hairy Bikers fans were left in tears after the latest episode with late Dave Myers aired a special tribute. The emotional episode on Tuesday, 12 March, saw Dave talk about his hope and optimism before his sad passing last month at 66, following a brave fight against cancer.
As the episode ended on Tuesday, viewers were left crying as Dave talked about the memories he and Si made together making the show. He finished the episode by sharing his hopes for the future and for the UK food scene, reports the Mirror. He continued: "But what's lovely is the optimism of looking forward, and certainly on the food front. It's veery, very exciting and very optimistic. We've got the best of the past and the best of the future."
Naturally, viewers were left in floods of tears as they remembered wonderful Dave. "Cannot stop crying. Such a sad loss. Rest in peace Dave. What a fight you put up," one viewer wrote.
