PETALING JAYA: Doubles shuttler Mohd Haikal Nazri fell just short in reaching yet another two finals for the second week running at the German Junior Open.
Haikal and Wan Arif Wan Junaidi did well to advance into the boys’ doubles title clash by triumphing 12-21,21-12,21-15 against South Korea’s Jin Yong-Kim Jae-hyeon in the semi-finals in Berlin on Saturday.
It was the same Indonesian pair that pipped Haikal-Low Yeen Yuan to the Dutch Junior International last week.
