The bargaining unit includes both full-time and adjunct faculty at the community college's Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon, Gettysburg, York and Virtual campuses.

February 19, 2022 Sean Simmers |[email protected] results are in: a majority of HACC faculty members have voted to form a union, a victory for the college’s Hawk Faculty United organizing campaign.
The results came in with 335 of the 533 votes in favor of unionizing. A total of 718 faculty were eligible to vote, after HACC challenged the eligibility of 110 faculty members. “Whether a HACC faculty member voted for or against unionization, we will be inclusive of all,” said Amy Withrow, professor of English and co-spokesperson for the Hawk Faculty United campaign, in a press release. “We move forward together for the benefit of our students, our communities, and our beloved institution.”
