Now Susquehanna Township police have charged the man, 20-year-old Fonte D. Carrier, with homicide and child endangerment in connection to the baby’s death May 10, 2021.2020 shootout that nearly killed a 16-year-old girl
The following events are detailed in an affidavit of probable cause, and are what Carrier told investigators happened the night before his baby died: The baby was still alive when Carrier woke up around 2 a.m. May 10, he said. The affidavit said Carrier woke up again around 3:50 a.m. and found the 2-month-old lying facedown under the swing, not breathing.
