The new Prime Video TV series has returned to Number 1 on streaming, coming off the heels of a new, divisive episode from the former Number 1 placeholder. Prime Video's new TV shows have been quite popular across the streaming landscape as of late.
This includes superhero series Invincible season 4, which has consistently been Number 1 on their charts. Now, FlixPatrol reports that, after being on top since its March 18 premiere, Invincible has been knocked down to Number 3 on Prime Video's streaming charts. In its place at Number 1 is now Young Sherlock. Created by Ritchie, the series follows the exploits of a 19-year-old Sherlock Holmes solving his first murder mystery while attending Oxford. According to data from March 30, 2026, Young Sherlock is Number 1 in nine countries around the world: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Greece, the Netherlands, Singnapore, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates. While Invincible remains Number 1 in Chile and Egypt, the grounded mystery is being aided by one big failure from the superhero series. How Young Sherlock Swooped In To Take Invincible's Number 1 Spot It's not a surprise the Sherlock Holmes prequel show was able to overtake the ongoing superhero show, and not just on its own merits, either. While reviews for Young Sherlock have been extremely positive, Invincible has faced the opposite with season 4, episode 4,"Hurm." The newest episode is the lowest-rated by audiences in the series' history. As of writing,"Hurm" has a 6.9 out of 10 on IMDb based on 11,000 reviews. The episode tells a series-original story about Mark Grayson going to Hell to fight Volcanikka and restore Satan as ruler of the underworld. Although Invincible season 4 reviews have, overall, been positive, this episode's dialogue-heavy story and interruption of the main plot drew ire. While Invincible's viewership stabilizes somewhat in the days after a new episode's release, Young Sherlock overtaking the series is still quite the surprise. The series was released in full on March 4, 2026, and has already had a run of success on Prime Video. Its return not only emphasizes its popularity, but also Invincible's weakening grip on the platform. When Will Invincible Reclaim Its Streaming Success? Luckily, it seems like Invincible won't have long to wait before it can rise back to the top of Prime Video's streaming charts. Despite its flaws, season 4, episode 4 ended with an event pulled right from Robert Kirkman's comic series, confirming the show is getting back on track. This means it won't be long until the series returns to the comics. Because of how important this part of the comic is, it's likely the show will see an increase in viewership to coincide with the events about to unfold. Still, the show's constant success on Prime Video makes Young Sherlock overtaking it a major win for Ritchie's series. Not only is it good on its own merit, but it's good enough to compete with one of Amazon's biggest superhero shows on the platform.
