Tanner Bibee is among the top three vote-getters for the American League's top rookie honor.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Guardians right-hander Tanner Bibee helped usher in the “next wave” of Cleveland’s young pitching talent in 2023, ranking among the American League’s best starters after joining the club in late April.

Now Bibee, 24, is in position to cap an outstanding season with the top rookie honor in the AL. Bibee is one of three finalists for the Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year Award along with Baltimore’s Gunnar Henderson and Triston Casas of Boston.
