The long-awaited release date of Grand Theft Auto 6 is closer than ever, and we've just had a very strong update from Rockstar Games about the upcoming title's release date. GTA 6 has officially been delayed twice now.
Originally planned for release in 2025, the game was pushed back to Spring 2026 before it was announced late last year that GTA 6 will now definitely be coming November 19, 2026. Naturally, many gamers still aren't convinced the game isn't going to get delayed again. Fortunately, we have some very good news: Rockstar just released a new bunch of employment opportunities, specifically focused around testers. What Does This Mean For GTA 6's Release Date? This is a chance to work on exciting game projects alongside a dynamic team.” While GTA 6 isn't actually mentioned in the post, it's pretty obvious this is the game in question. Now, this is obviously exciting news for a few reasons. A lot of gamers see it as a chance to go hands-on with GTA 6 early, although I should stress that being a game tester is rather more grueling than it might sound on paper. There's far more to it than just playing GTA 6 all day, and it's definitely not a job just anyone can do. The more exciting implication for this recruitment drive is that it's almost certainly related to the final phase of testing for GTA 6 ahead of its November 19 release date, which means, barring any horrifying game-breaking bug discoveries, GTA 6 should officially be on track for November as promised. GTA 6 Is So Close Now We can almost taste it With November 19 firmly in our sights and no sign of that date changing, we're just 237 days away from what is likely to be the biggest video game launch of all-time. I don't even particularly like the Grand Theft Auto games and even I'm losing my mind with excitement. When Rockstar releases a game, you pay attention. For now, it looks like we can rest safe in the knowledge that GTA 6 is on its way to us. We just need to find something to do for these last few months.
