Grocon scion Daniel Grollo has grown his build-to-rent pipeline to almost 3000 apartments after his Home platform paid about $80 million for the Bayview Eden Hotel site on the Melbourne CBD fringe.
A Home spokesman confirmed the Queens Road acquisition.
“The building will positively contribute to the diversity of housing options in the Port Phillip area, offering a range of studio one, two and three-bedroom apartments.” “This is our third Melbourne hotel sale in around 12 months in which developers have outbid hotel investors,” he said
