DPW is putting extra crews on standby as remnants from the now-tropical storm are expected to hit Indy late Tuesday night.

“Greenwood is excited to partner with GMB to provide quality tournament programming for our local youth teams and visitors we host at our new facility,” said Rob Taggart, executive director of Greenwood Parks and Recreation DepartmentGMB has proven themselves as leaders in the industry by supplying onsite support with tournament coordination and customer service for local and visiting teams.
“We look forward to working with the City of Greenwood to bring elite baseball and softball opportunities to the community,” said Eric Hooper, founder and owner of GMB. “This new amenity will allow us to increase the level of play within the region.” Officials said GMB will support the leagues at the sports park by helping with hotel accommodations, extracurriculars for visiting teams, game scheduling, awards and umpire coordination. Each tournament will end with naming a championship team who will take home an award.
