Brooke Bentke of Brenham was named the 5A/4A/Private school Preseason Player of the Year. The outside hitter is committed to Texas State. In 5A/4A/Private school, Episcopal, Lake Creek, Manvel and St. John’s School are tied with the most selections with three. Cypress Ranch ranks fourth, Barbers Hill fifth, Ridge Point sixth, Conroe seventh, Clear Springs eight, Stratford ninth and Manvel 10th.
