Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard almost didn't make it on air on Tuesday morning.
Good Morning Britain was thrown into chaos on Tuesday morning as the studio suffered a power outage just minutes before going live.Just after the show hit screens at 6am, Kate said: "We are here by the skin of our teeth. We had a massive power cut at Good Morning Britain and it's been all sorts of drama.
"The producer is in my ear laughing at me for being so technical," she continued as they then played a trick on her by dimming the lights and turning off her microphone. The fresh horror for Kate came just two days after she was left "terrified" as her tyre exploded while driving her children along the motorway.
