David Richards must not have contact with female patients or work outside the Gold Coast where clinic he is based, under conditions imposed by the Health Ombudsman.

David Richards has been registered as a medical practitioner in Australia since 1991, with his principal place of practice in the affluent Gold Coast suburb of Benowa. Dr Richards' workplace, Medical Super Clinic Benowa, last year posted to social media that his special interests included women's health, reproductive health, antenatal and post-natal care and female specific contraception services.
A spokeswoman for the Medical Super Clinic at Benowa declined to comment on Dr Richards' registration conditions when contacted by the ABC.
