Eusebi Deli in Glasgow is partnering with London's Italian Trade Agency to offer customers a week of free Italian cheese tastings. The event aims to promote the quality and variety of Italian cheeses, including popular favorites like Mozzarella di Bufala and Parmigiano Reggiano, as well as lesser-known options such as Grana Padano and Pecorino Toscano.
Glasgow family-run Italian restaurant Eusebi Deli is hosting a week of cheese tastings in partnership with London’s Italian Trade Agency.
He added: “We’re looking forward to sharing our knowledge and love of Italian cheese with our local community and building the profile of these incredible dairy products that epitomise the quality and care put into Italian ingredients.”The PDO label, which stands for Protected Designation of Origin, or in Italian DOP guarantees the links between product and place.
Its aim is to introduce the public to a wide range of Italian cheeses, and allow them to become familiar with preparing dishes and enjoying cheeses that may be new to the British consumer.
