PETALING JAYA: Selangor have a score to settle with Super League leaders Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) in their Super League clash at the Petaling Jaya Stadium today.
Fresh in the Red Giants’ memory is the frustrating 2-1 loss to the Southern Tigers in last year’s Malaysia Cup final at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
“I’ve told the players to keep their emotions in check during tense situations, which are to be expected in a game like this. I don’t want to see any of them getting red cards,’’ he said.Cheng Hoe admits that JDT have been in imperious form so far, having scored 17 goals and conceded just one after four matches.
“Jordi Amat has been impressive as captain, and Juan Muniz has shown creativity. Endrick , Diogo and Arif have looked sharp.”
